This edition of One Man’s Jazz, the 1200th since it began at CKUW in Winnipeg in May 1999, is a departure from the usual fare. I’ve always stated that the show is about the music and the artists who make it, so I decided to approach a number of artists for their contributions and comments. Aside from a new releases, here’s what those generous folks contributed. Some are yet-to-be released, some are favourite tunes, music by influences, and even one written just for this show! I hope you enjoy it.
