Two new recordings of note this week: drummer Daniel Freedman's "Bamako By Bus" is a nice multi-cultural flavoured session with an all-star cast, and Toronto guitarist Avi Granite has a new NYC based-group he calls Verse. Their first CD is very good. Avi is a guy to watch. New York is good for the boy.
